Match On Action:
The idea of match on action is to cut from one shot to another specific shot that matches the shot that the editor first cut from. Match on action is high in continuity as the shots are cut so that they all stay relevant to the first shot that was taken. Also, match on action keeps the audience interested as the shots all link together and flow better due to the fact that they are all similiar, and as it distracts the audience from noticing the constant cutting, which happens throughout. An example of match on action is opening a door with one hand and going through the door and coming out on the same side.
