For my film Desperate Measures, my group and I have said that we are going to use the equipment above because they will promote our film more efficently and more effectively. This is due to the fact that each of the equipment above have been used in realisitic films and in music videos by famous artists to give their videos a more professional outlook. I have chosen to use the film light above as it gives the specific shot more effect and as it makes the shots look more clear and visible. I have chosen to use the slider in my work because my teacher explained that it is a really essential element in film making as it represents flexibility, security and stability. This is because once you place the camera on to the slider, you can move the camera about to various positions frequently to grab the best shots. I have also chosen to use the shoulder rig as it has many functions and uses. You can either put the shoulder rig over your shoulder to rest there while you are taking shots or you can hold the shoulder rig down below to grab floor shots/worms eye view shots and the shoulder rig prevents the camera from shaking. I have also chosen to use the tripod in my work because it is convenient and accessible as it holds the camera while my group and I are filming. The tripod is also stable as once the camera is in, it doesnt move nor shake. Using these equipment, I believe will get my group and I a very high grade in our film as it will promote our film by expressing the qualities of it from the audience's perspectives.
