For my opening sequence, a key character is a Jade Western. I have chosen to compare Jade with another character from the movie Kidulthood. This is because they both attend college in the movie and they both have a genuine and pleasant personality. However, a difference between the two characters is that Jade Western dies at the end of the opening sequence as she is murdered but Alisa from Kidulthood does not die but she does have to face grief as her boyfriend is murdered in front of her.
