Camera Shot Analysis:

I have identified various camera shots to use in my film. The camera shots that i have identified are close ups, weather shots, medium shot, establishing shots, extreme close ups and long shots. The shots to the right shows the shots that I have identified. I have shot the establishing shot standing on the platform of a train and looking at the location that I am going to film in from a Point of View angle. I have also chosen to have a weather shot as I believe that the audience would want to see what the weather is going to be like and also as it gives much more detail. Each of the shots that I have used have different meanings. The close up shot is essential in filming when showing a characters facial expressions and emotions. The long shot is essential when action is commencing and when there is a group of people. The weather shots are good for showing pathetic fallacy and also as it denotes weather and connotes with either a miserable or cheerful feeling, if the weather is sunny or windy/cold. The establishing shots are essential also as they help to set the scene and tells the audience where the scene is taking place.
