For our movie Desperate Measures, my group and I have made an animatic which displays the organistion of the film and consists of each shot that will be in the film. The animatic consists of 15 shots which will be the shots used in the film. It starts off showing a person walking down stairs on a platform and ends with the person laying on the floor in a pool of blood. 

 

The purpose of the animatic is so that the target audience can have an idea of what to expect in the film and also so that they can recognise the genre of the film prior the movie so that there is no confusion when they are watching the actual film. Another purpose of the animatic is so that my group and I could show effective planning skills so that we can decide on the order of the shots simply and ensure that we can plan our time effectively to get the shots completed.
